Booker T. Washington was a Black educator and leader who founded the Tuskegee Institute. He also advocated for vocational training and economic self-reliance for Black people.

12/30/2023 - Over the years, I've seen this area in Shoreline as uninspiring while passing through, going from point A to point B. These murals offer the community captivating visuals paying lasting tribute to some of America's most influential historical voices and celebrating Juneteenth all year around.
