The Wall of Death

by | Aug 28, 2018 | Burke-Gilman, Structure, University District

About

The structure is a representation of what was used in a well-known motorcycle stunt called the Wall-of-Death. The adjacent concrete ramp that sits across the Burke-Gilman Trail had installed orange chairs. They have long since been removed and replaced by concrete curb stops.

NOTES

8/28/18 – It was fairly quiet on the “Burke.” An occasional skateboarder passed by defiantly, hitting the concrete slope riddled with cement curb stops used to deter such activity.
